The company obtains its data on unreported cases primarily through contracts with national and local jury verdict reporter publishers and other case tracking and reporting services. However, it also relies on subscribers and site visitors to contribute case data.

In order to qualify for acceptance into the database, an expert in case must have been challenged or excluded in under one or more of the evidentiary gatekeeping standards reflected in any one of the cases that the company tracks.
