The primary research and planning for the Daubert Tracker database began in 1999. The initial concept for the product was the outgrowth of the experiences of MDEX Online, Inc., a full service medical legal consulting and expert witness location and research firm and the company that owns the product.

After three years of research and development, the product was launched in August of 2002. Since then, it has received significant critical acclaim and serves as an important component of the expert witness due diligence process and as a practical research tool for attorneys, judges and experts facing their own "gatekeeping" events.

The company continues to grow both in terms of the breadth and scope of its data and the sophistication of its technology. The current primary focus of the product is on the acquisition of information and documents in unreported cases. In this regard, the company has engaged the services of a large number of legal researchers, all highly-ranked and carefully-screened law students from the National University of Juridical Sciences in Calcutta, India.

It is forecasted that, based on the intensity of its current effort, the number of unreported cases in the database will equal the number of reported cases (currently 14,000+) by the end of 2005.
